Automotive Aftermarket Area Sales Manager/ Technical Demonstrator • Aberdeen OTE 24K, 18-21k Basic + Commission + Car + Benefits The Client For over 20 years, our client has supplied high quality products to the Automotive, industrial and allied markets. Renowned for their high performance brand and innovative product portfolio they continue to remain at the forefront of new development. To assist with their growth they now require an Area Sales Managers/Technical Sales Demonstrators within Aberdeen to continue with the success of their motivated automotive sales division. The Candidate This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with automotive product knowledge and a commercial ability to enjoy their first experience within a field sales role. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring sales by demonstrating the company products to automotive professionals (garages, workshops and refinish/bodyshops). You will develop a portfolio of existing customers and will also prospect new clients. We are looking for a candidate who has exceptional technical/automotive product expertise and who has the ability to demonstrate by using both enthusiasm and their knowledge of the market. Although sales experience is desirable, more important is your ability to enthusiastically and proficiently demonstrate product, selling via demonstration of the product and understanding of the clients needs. Qualities we would expect the candidate to hold are: • Good technical knowledge in automotive maintenance • Commercial ability • Manual skills • Organised and self driven • Autonomous • Dynamic and responsive • Effective communication skills • Good negotiation, persuasion and influencing skills • Adaptable with the ability to evolve. • Results orientated with a clear focus. The Role Core responsibilities of the role are: • Visit existing clients and seek new clients • Customer loyalty, though contact visits • Demonstrate products and anticipate the client’s needs. • Propose Products • Transmit knowledge of technical products. • Adjust technique on the type of clientele • Order taking.
